Thank you so so much People of Anime Spark! It was my first trip to IOWA displaying my work and honestly it was one of the funnest anime conventions I've gone to yet. I got to hang out with some of my Madison Friends who also boothed at this show, and I also made a lot of new friends who I look forward to seeing again.
This weekend is Anime Milwaukee! I can't wait to go as I have some friends boothing in this con as well as some attendees *cough* stalkers whom I can't wait to see again!

In other worlds I have 2 new illustrations I'm in the middle of vectoring and will try and get them completed, but it may not happen in time for AMKE. I'd like to LiveStream again but not sure exactly when.

Glad you had fun in Iowa, mostly glad the weather decided to be so damn nice for you. And luckily, the nice weather is supposed to hold out on us, fingers crossed. I'm glad you had other stalkers there, since I couldn't make it, lol.
Iowa was a blast. You are right though... there was nothing to do, the town seemed to have shut down at 9pm. The air wasn't as smelly as I thought it would, but the water definitely reaked. It could have been the hotel's fault, with lousy filters or something. It probably didn't help having the paper factories almost right across the street
Never made it to the blue strawberry. I almost went to that and the art museum on Thursday but I got to the hotel and dozed off a bit before setup.
All in all it was a very fun time, I'm looking forward to going again. The people were wonderful.
You're not missing out on too much with the blue strawberry, it's your standard little cafe. They had some good baked goods and the decor that I can remember was fun, but nothing amazing. The only reason I remember it is because it was one of our sets for this independent short film we were shooting in Cedar Rapids, and the owners/workers were all really great about us basically taking over a good chunk of the place.
Which art museum were you going to go to? I have to admit, I've never visited any when in CR. Or is there only one ... I know nothing about the CR art scene, apparently. I love to go to art museums, but I seldom go anywhere where there is one. Predicament, lol. I'll have to try and make myself go more often if *when* I ever move to Des Moines.
jk lol but anyway,
What exactly do you livestream any way? O.o (so NOT a stalker question...)
I sometimes LiveStream some of the illustration work I do and sometimes help others with the software. Its fun and addicting but the ads suck
It was awesome seeing you at Spark! c:
