WOW! AMKE was such a blast and a major improvement to last year. I loved the new venue and the super larger vendors/artist alley.
I also got reacquainted with Sonic Spinball for the Sega Genesis in the Video Game Room. I haven't played that game in like 12-15 years!!
There were so many amazing people that stopped by my booth, and I can't thank you all enough for supporting me and my work. It was also really cool to see so many people from all the other cons in Wisconsin. I truly had an awesome time and I miss my creeping stalkers and con family already.
Fortunately, this weekend I'll be at another con in Appleton, Wisconsin! Kitsune Kon! This is a first year con for them and I hope it does well. I'll be hanging out in the artist alley.
I also added Geek.kon to my list of cons below! I signed up right away at AMKE and was told that I was the fist artist to sign up and register for 2011. I had a great time and Geek.kon last year and look forward to boothing there again this year.

Your table was mega awesome, and I'm so happy with my Totoro-esque piece. Oh, and I should mention I was seriously overjoyed when I realized the cards fit in sleeves from an old Magic deck I have. This way, I may stick them to my wall without ruining them. Huzzah! Anyway, your work is magnificent (my favorite currently being "Monster Paw"), and I hope to buy more from you again soon!
Curious. Have you thought of going to ACen this year? If so, I will be looking for you. It was really nice meeting you at AMKE though. Take care, Jake, and have fun at Kitsune Kon!
AWWW! You are super sweet! Thanks so much and I'm happy to hear you are enjoying the prints!
I won't be going to ACen, I hear they fill up with in a couple minutes of opening registration. I actually go to this awesome little comic convention up in Minnesota that same weekend instead. Been going up there for 3 years now so its hard for me to give it up to face the chaos of ACen. Maybe some year I'll have to give ACen a whirl.
Thanks again for supporting me and my work! I hope to see you again soon if not at AMKE next year.
You're quite welcome; I just stuck them on my wall right now. I even stuck your business card on my wall too, because I'm ridiculous in that way. Well, it's a really cool-lookin' card if you ask me.
Awe, no ACen? That's saddening, though I do understand your loyalty to the Minnesota con. I will definitely make it to AMKE next year, so let's hope you return. Huzzah!
