THANK YOU EVERCON!!! I had a blast at Evercon on Saturday. I saw so many familiar faces and cool friends there, it was fantastic. I also MADE THE NEWS! Channel 7 in Wausau visited the convention and they did a brief interview with me at the con but then only aired like 3 seconds of it on tv

Its pretty cool though!
[link]One of the most adorable things happened and I must share with you. My friend Victor, paperstreetcomics.com, boothed at Evercon this year and it was great to catch up with him. Its been a year since we talked in person and since then his daughter was born. At the last Evercon he bought one of my prints, Frolicking Giraffes, to hang in the nursery before his daughter was born. Well his wife and daughter (now 7 months old), showed up at the convention and they were flipping through my portfolio and when they got to the giraffes, his daughter coo'd and reached for the giraffes, completely excited to see them!! It was so adorable I almost cried! Victor was like, "I told you she loves your art!"
It was definitely the cutest thing I've ever seen and I will cherish that moment for the rest of my life.
In other news, I've added two more cons to my list! Wizard World Chicago and Wizard World Mid-Ohio!
I also got an invite from C2E2 but I'm thinking I'm going to turn it down this year. It is an expensive show and I'd like to have some sort of book to display there. Maybe next year.
